How old can dogs race too?
Winner - rule of thumb is between 3 1/2 and 4 1/2 years although not many would make it to 4. That said I've seen 5 year olds running around but it's vary rare.

ted e found a fastie in "flash conquest"...won last two by big daddy cool...make a little broodie after a couple of brissie wins...anyone want in....glossy its mum has thrown group 1 winners bit of a speedster but could throw anything...look it up kiddies.....

I remember the mum Teddy - she was a good front running stayer at Wenty, could run a bit of time too

the picture of the one for sale looks good as a type of dog to teddie and bred in the purple....won last 2 and just short of nsw city class...might pick up a sprint at albion park.....and bred right could throw anything.....flash has only had 9 starts thanks for that

I tend to think there is an issue with modern racing, plenty of dogs can race on until 4 1/2 or 5, but once they turn 3 and get an injury a lot of trainers don't want to continue as they can get a younger dog into the kennel.

Not to put too much of a dampener Teddy - it's a long way from a couple on the trot at Lithgow over the 287 to winning at Wenty

thats what im told...the 331 at albion looks a chaalenge as does the 395....but in townsvegas the 380 looks gold

Greyhound data has plenty of pups and tried dogs for sale on it.
I own 25% of one starting pre training in Melb
and 25% in his older sister who has won 5 for us inc. won Sat Night win at Wenty.

Go and visit Rob Tyler at www.reasonkennels.com They sell everything they produce and don't pick the eyes out of them ( eg. lke keeping the best and selling the rubbish like alot of the dog bloke do)... nice guy
