First leg looks pretty skinny...although with a jackpot might need 5 selections.
Gotta Plonk the ZIP! and have a couple of saving bets.
3rd and 4th Legs look gettable with 5 or 6 selections ensuring value.

Could end up with $150 for $1...or chuck a few more in the Classic for a %.

Thoughts?

Jackpots very very very very rarely result in a  higher div.

There was a jackpot on the First4 on Stakes day in the big Patinack Sprint.
7 horse field, 1.60 winner (Black Cav)
paid $300.

Hate to have seen the dividend without it.

$267 at the other TAB which falls into the normal variance on First 4.

I remember picking a first four in Perth a few years back Gilded Venom won the race F4 paid 2k on VicTab with a Jackpot and only $800 NSW, not sure about Quaddie Jackpots as I only ever get 3 legs  lol

I have never taken a Quadrella, I resent being told what races I will bet on!!, never taken a lotto ticket either, can't see the intellectual challenge involved cos there ain't none, it's just a numbers game, not many punters get it and when they do it is for a very small percentage, better off picking one or 2 horses each week (in race you pick) and not getting greedy and you will finish with a lot more at the end of the year!

So you only have fun when you win......Perhaps you should find another form of entertainment.

Jim, you seem to fail to understand that not everyone is like you.

If what you do suits you , keep it up mate, but try to understand we are all different , especially punters.

mate I never said everyone should be like me, Just telling you what I do and why?? I enjoy every day on the punt winning or losing, (winning obviously better) I find it an intellectual challenge, I don't find backing 6 or 7 numbers in 4 races that are selected for me to be anything of a challenge, if you get a result by in fact having 1,2, or 300 selections to get 4 winners that is 99% luck, I punt for the enjoyment, that is piunting for the money and rarely would you win and when you do you get 1% nah that ain't fun at least not for me!!

3 in the first leg, Zipping the plonk, 8 and 5 selections in the final 2 legs = $120 for a full unit.
$773 payout plus a little extra for scratchings.....Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuunnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn

If you are trying for 1% Jim...maybe narrow your selections a bit.
