Catelogue is out for the sales which run from the 12th to the 16th Jan

A mate is offering Lot 76, a Snitzel three quarter to NZ Derby winner Redoute's Dancer. Had a look at it when up in Grafton in July and it is a beautiful looking chestnut to my untrained eye.

I was there with Darryl Hansen and a few other buyers.  Irel actually sold for 170k, not 175... not that its much difference at that price.

Out of curiosity I checked the sales result for Lot 251 a colt by Sharmadal out of Ivory Tatoo which was the subject of Phil's story to the effect that on breeding this entrant didn't meet the quality being proclaimed by the MM's urger being the best ever catalog.

I have never read his site or paid much attention to this thread but geez I have to agree with his thoughts on thispedigree.

I can only assume the thing was an absolute cracker in appearance and the pedigree is shit
