Ouroene. Ran in group races including against Kingston Town. Never won in well over 100 starts.

cheers for that
this is what i could dig up

Ouroene had the distinction of having 124 race starts and died a Maiden. Until last year, 19/9/07, she held the world record number of starts for a maiden. Now it is held by Puerto Rican mare Donna Chepa, a 9yo.

Donna Chepa   0 from 131

All of her starts have been at Puerto Rico's Hippodromo Camarero, formerly known as El Commandante, outside San Juan. She has done nothing to inspire, running last 49 times and on 51 occasions finishing at least 30 lengths from the winner.

Haru Urara  0 from 113

In Japan, they saluted Haru Urara around the same time. When she commenced her racing career on November 17, 1998, at Kochi, Haru Urara finished fifth and last. She would spend the next six years struggling to do much better.

The mare would have 113 starts and flop in all of them. Not that it troubled the Japan Racing Association, who enjoyed the "Haru Urara boom". She was a horse whose betting tickets became as lucky as St Christopher medals.

It was said that a betting ticket bearing the name Haru Urara was a guaranteed loss, or "ataranai", which translated means to lose a bet, while also meaning "to avoid being struck".

In 2003 as a service to punters the word was stamped on Haru Urara betting tickets.

i think zippy chippy is still my favourite here after being banned from every course for biting people and other stuff  lol
