It is interesting to see that Rick Horse-Racing is going to retire Toorak Toff. I understand that Show A Heart is the only Star Kingdom lined stallion left and TT would bring another Star Kingdom option to the industry ... this can't be a bad thing!!! | TOORAK TOFF (AUS) |

Apparently he is already retired.
His soundness has to be questionable.

Not soundness, just attitude plus they consider him too valuable long term. The MM was probably going to see him out anyway. Cheers to the Toff a big than you.

Apparently the reason was he is a grade 3 roarer and they did not want to have the "wind" operation carried out.

Double cross of Star Kingdom is appealing.

Rick Horse-Racing may have had second thoughts (or there was little interest by the studs) and it seems that they will now operate on TT, before a return to the races.

I can't believe there was a lack of interest I suspect it was not enough money offered he is very well bred, is he not?

The thing is - in the original story - trainer was distinctly quoted as saying he's got a problem - if we can work out a suitable stud offer we will retire him to stud.
Obviously a combo of not enough money on offer straight away and some owners still keen to race on for a bit.

Dutch Harry is another Star Kingdom line stallion, also with a double cross of Star Kingdom that is now standing at stud.
