CRAQUELURE was disqualified from a race it won, because of an embargo, put on it because of a bleeding attack.

Going through the records, it looks like it had had 3 months off, so not sure what the deal is about disqualifying it, and fining Willick.

Only thing I can think of is the horse has to gallop again in front of stewards before racing, but hasn't.

But either way isn't that a bit harsh, taking the race off the horse ?

Bleeders are trouble some, sometimes you can only get a couple of runs out of them, and this one has just had won taken off him. Thumb Down

The trouble is there are definite lines of demarcation between 2 different types of trainers, the first and by far the most successful are the ones with people skills(of course they have to have horse skills as well though they are rarely hands on), then there is the second group and these are the ones who are great horse people and are hands on and involved with all their horses but lack people skills, like a Great Doctor with no discernible bedside manner( Doctor House the TV Doctor is a great example) the question is who do you want operating on you, a Doctor you like or a Doctor you respect?
