Thought I'd start a thread about usual track trends for certain tracks, add you're own & I'll chuck them in the opening post

Track Trends

VIC

Sandown - Lakeside - Plays to on pace runners even in strong run races


NSW

Kensington - Horses that have good form on the track tend to always do well at the track alot of the time even if their form is poor elsewhere


QLD

Eagle Farm - Once rated best track in Aus..still very good and usually no obvious bias( most times)  smiley

Doomben - Smaller track and often suits on pace runners...very hard to win if drawn wide in 1000mtr races.
Also would have to be one of the best drying tracks around.

Kensington is Strathyr and can be a specialist track or can take some getting used to, similar to MV

Hawkesbury is a cronic on pace track

Mooney Valley, best suited to dogs beer

when was Eagle farm rated the best track in Australia?? Mono you seem to have a QLD bias there?? this is about track bias not people bias?? biggrin   biggrin

Jim I was raised in NSW...still go for the Blues in the Origin, so no bias here.

to answer your question...dd told me so it must be true. biggrin
