Does anyone know if there is a site for the GEAR CHANGES and GEAR WORN for horses for UK racing.
If so could the links be posted here.
I have searched high and low but for the life of me I cannot find them anywhere.

I Twittered the Question Mr. User, Unfortunately they do not,

Thanks to Oli, DD favorite TV anchorman - "not specifically....however both racing post and sporting life show equipment used and if its first time there is a small 1 by it".

"its time consuming but if u go back through form you can see if its back on. Don't think I've explained that well, but hpe it helps"

I searched the British Horse racing site and could not find anything. http://www.britishhorseracing.com/toolbox/

Apparently in the Racing Post and Sporting Life if a horse is wearing any gear outside the bascis it will say so, If blinkered it will say so, if its first time blinkered it will have a small (1) Unfortunatley they do not have anything like we have in so far as notifying in form guides clearly.

If you look at race 2 the 2.30 from Lingfield Number 2 Brabazon says Brabazon 9 tb cd. The 9 indicates 9 days since it ran, My guess is t indicates tongue tie and b indicates blinkers. cd = course and distance.

Brabazon9 tb

Others in the race have a v next to their name I imagine that is visor as apposed to blinkers ?

I was playing around last night trying to find information but couldn't see much.

This did come up on search engine - http://www.flatstats.co.uk/ looks like you need to create login - not sure what if anything is there but it had some reference to gear changes I think.
