I have used the advance search but it can not find anything about Jungle Rocket.
There are dozens of mentions of the nut case mare on the forum, why wouldn't it find them ?

People are probably sick of me asking, I am certainly sick of asking, How does the search engine work on this forum ?
I have typed in "Mark Wallace" in the search facility and it is not even bringing up Rumpelstiltskin's thread. How is that possible ?

Which search are you using Auth ?
Have a feeling that the top search bar is not working, and may be slowing the forum, with it's database queries.
May remove the search bar, and leave the advanced search link

I've asked before "did you tick one of the options?"? I had no problem bringing up the references to "Mark Wallace" But then I'm using the "old theme"  |

Ok, try that Auth ?
Have changed the default to search in thread title by default, if that doesn't bring up what you are searching for, then untick it.
Hopefully will help with site performance.
Also would help if yu select the boards you are searching in, gives the database less work to do
