Bloody hell the winner is not even nominated. Now there is some unusual logic..........Yes he is, number 9 on the list.

I've had a watch on Kincaple since he resumed this time in - he just hasn't taken the next step yet. Not sure whether there heading here but I do think he can still be competitive at this level at some point.
King Diamond certainly looks the goods but when there's so few races run over 3200m you never know how will step up or go backwards. These races can be a bit of lottery for mine.

Like Macedonian at this stage, proven two miler with a 1.3 length 5th to Americain in the Geelong Cup, that has to be good form for this? Fitter for Mornington run, good trainer, and significant weight turnaround on Guyno. I know the Lord Reims is traditionally a good lead up, but first four seperated by a length in pretty much a sprint home, not sold on it. Kav's horses haven't shown up much in the big races lately either. Will be a good little race to watch at any rate.

Looks hard to beat, but at the odds I'm gonna spec Kincaple and Saddler's Story.

Yep. That was a good win with a bit of weight last start.
