Warrnambool R1 - 1.00pm 1000m Mdn 3yo $12K
Name Price Comment
No12 Orgullecida 4.00 22-30++??, on debut here on the back of finishing 2nd to Miss Gai Flyer (2 listed wins on end since) in a trial at Cranbourne, form refs through 3rd and 4th home in that trial suggests well above the level required to win here, major player.
No3 God's Secret 4.65 22-30+?, blowsed 1st up this track and distance by an unexposed well bred 1st starter, good margins further back adds depth, 1st up last prep 3rd to Luckyi'mbarefoot also readys very strong, clear form refs suggests well above this maiden tag.
No14 Wanton Spirit 8.30 15-22+?, very well bred 1st starter by Invincible Spirit out of the Fasliyev mare Vassilli who is a half sister to G1 Thousand Guineas winner Gallica, astute yard, likely to have its fair share of ability.
No6 King El 11.00 15+?, deceivingly well bred by Elvstroem out of the Rubiton mare Rubiton Rose who won a trial at Cranbourne prior to sole start when failed and is a full sister to G3 winner Great Condor, looks to have good speed in its pedgree and may surprise here at odds, 3yo colt yet to be gelded also adds depth to potentiual levels shown in private.
No7 The Water Bomber 14.00 12-15+?, potentially well bred by Elvstroem out of stakes winner Firenza (didnt win another start in 13 starts, no winners come out of that Listed win), warrants respect on breeding but that lack of depth through dams sole Listed win is a worry.
No5 I'm So Excited 20.00 12-15??, chased home God's Secret (also engaged here) when 3rd over track and distance 1st up, mixed form refs out of race give it potential decent claims.
No2 First Base 22.00 12+??, did nothing on debut only run last prep but was sent around right in the market at 5/1, sire has a good record with sprintersi n short time at stud and dam was a 9 time winner of 45 career starts, warrants claims in this grade.
No11 Northern Gem 22.00 12+??, comes through the same form ref 1st up as Champagne Esprit but prior form does look better in Alice Springs placed behind Powerful Pegasus twice on end (but well btn).
No10 Champagne Esprit 25.00 12+??, mixed form refs come out of 2 career starts to date, on breeding and some form refs is up to this maiden tag level but other significant queries exists to suggest treading warily with this form
No4 Hay Bob 28.00 12??, 1st starter by Niello out of a Success express mare, no public trial form, breeding suggests should be competitive around this maiden tag.

Warrnambool R2 - 1.30pm 1200m Mdn $12K
Name Price Comment
No11 Strong Belief 2.60 12-15+??, decent speed pedigree by Keep The Faith out of a Marscay mare who herself is out on a Geelong Oaks Trial winner, both starts this prep suggests is well up to a race of this nature especially being such a weak $12K maiden.
No6 Lean On My Fence 4.25 12+?, 2nd up from a spell here on the back of finishing 4th btn 2.1l at Bendigo, definite scope for more and looksd well placed here in a weakish maiden for the tag.
No8 Terrorway 5.40 12+??, did nothing 1st 2 preps then 1st up last start finished 0.7l 3rd at Kilmore on slow going over 1100m, form refs out of the race decent in comparrison to what it takes on here, warrants respect.

Warrnambool R3 - 2.00pm 1400m Mdn $12K
Name Price Comment
No11 Parma 2.90 15-22++?, deceivingly well bred by Elvstroem out of the potential stakes quality mare Northwood Lady (before career cut short, career mark 9-2-2-2 $89K), 2nd up this prep 2 back hit a new peak at Geelong 2nd btn 0.1l over 1312m by the superbly bred Redoute's Choice colt Heritage (out of Glamour Puss), margins further back strongly suggests is midweek city level on the make as a minimum, if so then this is merely a stepping stone to stronger quality races, blinkers go on 1st time.
No13 God She's Raunchy 4.75 15-22??, tried to make all over 1200m 1st up on this track last start, not disgraced, 5th btn 3l, rider went too hard in front that day leading by 3l midrace very fast tempo, so merit to be only btn 3l is good, 2nd up last prep before spelling was good at Bairnsdale 3rd btn 2.3l, form refs out of race potentially strong for what it takes on here, bred to be good by God's Own out of the Testa Rossa mare Raunchy Red (career mark 2-1-1-0 $8.4K, trial winner only other time seen in public)
No2 The Zero 8.00 12-15+?, off thr scene for 367 days leading into this, failed sole career start but prior finished 1l 3rd to wide margin debut winner at M Valley, Waitiki River, other form refs out of same trial also suggests up to stronger maidens that this tag, well bred by Danzero outo f the Hurrican Sky mare Jubilant Spirit who was city grade as a sprinter, her only other foal to race is the 2 times tried Assertive spirit who showed above average ability 2nd to Lone Rock in a trial.
No5 Shadow In The Sky 10.50 12-15+??, 5l trial 2nd to Gigliato prior to 1st up run this prep reads well, 2 winners further back have come out of that trial since, then 1st up franked that when btn 0.3l on this track over 1200m, breeding suggests suited this slightly longer trip, scope for more.
No3 Famous Force 20.00 12?, yet to be seen in public but on breeding may be capable in this grade, by the Redoute's Choice half brother to high class speed sire of 2yo's General Nediym in the form of Legion.
No6 Union Rep 20.00 12?, finished 2nd at Mt Gambier last start btn 0.3l, winner of that race blowsed in a $7K maiden at Wangaratta 1st up prep prior and 3rd home btn only 1.4l in a similar 12K maiden tag race as this, form reads OK.
No10 Miss Kemprice 20.00 12??, comes through the same race as Union Rep at Mt Gambier and prior thereabouts vs this maiden tag level, scope for more very questionable.

Warrnambool R4 - 2.30pm 1700m Mdn $12K
Name Price Comment
No9 Missing In Action 4.50 15-22+?, deceivingly very well bred for this sort of trip by Savabeel out of the Sadler's Wells mare Incommunicado who herself is a daughter of the high class Fappiano mare Aptostar (G1 & G2 winner at 3 in the USA and placed in 6 other G1/G2 races at 4), first 2 career starts in NZ last prep obviously showed enough to be transferred to Moroney Aust yard, tried at Lstd & G1 level last prep abd was good inbetween on heavy going in a very strong 1600m maiden at Ballarat, well placed here.
No1 Commonage Close 5.50 12-15++??, close up last 2 on end at Kilmore and Moe over slightly shorter trips, better suited here back onto a likely firmer surface, 2 preps ago was only btn 3.6l by Southern Skye at Listed level and prior 2.3l by spacecraft in $70K Saturday company, has obvious ability and shapes as well placed at this maiden tag level.
No8 Koolasacat 6.60 15+?, 1st time stretching out to this trip and bred for it by Niello out of a Regal Classic mare, 2 back it looked like this trip would suit when a hard closing 4th (made up clearly most ground) over 1400m at Ballarat btn 1.9l, good margins further back, form refs out of that race reads strong for what it takes on here, good scope for more, in this up to its ears.
No12 Great Impressions 9.00 12-15+??, has finished 2nd last 3 starts on end over shorter trips, ok closing pars, not totally sure it is suited to this longer trip, on breeding it is a 1200m to 1400m pedigree but has to be respected.
No10 Out Of The Hat 12.50 12+?, trial winner at Cranbourne over 1190m prior to debut, doing best work on the line when 7th btn 3l in a $15K maiden last start over 1419m, scope for more
No13 Kentucky Cash 12.50 12+?, showed nothing first 4 career starts then imprved last start 4th at Terang btn 4.5l by wide margin winner Mossailey, has claims on that form ref especially with further improvement.
No5 Strauchnie 18.00 12+???, another who really mixes form but bred for this trip and prior form from past preps suggests is capable at this maiden tag level, also trial 2nd 2400m to Man Of Class in prep for return reads OK, failed 1st up last start.
No3 Nontubber 25.00 12??, 3rd up here, potentially better suied this trip, mixes form badly but one line last prep when 10l 2nd at Coleraine (high weights race) does suggest it has the ability to win a maiden at this level, but needs to produce it, outside claims.

Warrnambool R5 - 3.00pm 1700m MR58 $12K
Name Price Comment
No1 Baron De Burg 5.40 15-22+??, won 1st up last prep over 1300m at Geelong on the AW, form refs out of that race read well with 3rd and 5th winning quickly after, totally failed next 3 starts then put away, 1st up here over 1700m is no query and may even hit a new peak level, if so then is clearly above the advertised level required to win here.
No5 Optimal 6.20 15-22??, 4th up here stretching out to 1700m, 2 preps ago won over slightly longer at Pakenham and end of last prep produced big closing pars in good $22K company to finish 2nd to Johadina over 1300m, ready now, solid claims.
No12 Golden Schnaps 7.70 12-15++???, comes out of strong races all 4 starts in NSW this prep and goes better this direction as form from last prep suggests, Yarra Glen maiden winner over 1500m then close up at Sandown and Mornington next 2 v stronger than the advertised class here, potentially very well placed here if form refs stand up, in well weighted after the claim.
No3 Megapixel 9.00 12-15+?, won 1st up last prep over 1200m on this track, form refs out of that race decent for this, better suited here 1st up over 1700m and likely to be back to somewhere near best after a long break of 306 days, went off the boil towards end of last prep on wet track, assess on earlier form and its right in this
No9 Mister Ceriani 11.00 12-15+??, last start 2nd at Werribee over 1600m btn 3.3l by Kissy Lips has good merit associated, big margin 3rd, minor query is high weights scenario that day may have fluked the margins slightly, on a repeat warrants good respect.
No6 Rejuvenated 11.00 12-15, well bred for this sort of trip by Rock Of Gibraltar out of s Listed winning 2400m Al Hareb mare, finished 2nd this track and distance last start but only lumped 53.5kg that day and rises to 56kg here after the claim, minor queries around depth of form out of that race.
No8 Taste Test 14.00 12-15??, 2nd over same track and distance as 1st up effort last start when 5th btn 3.6l by Seattle Sonic, natural improvement expected for being fitter now, maiden win this track and distance 2 preps ago suggests is up to this level when the cards fall its way.
No11 General Sateen 18.00 12+??, has showed nothing both starts this prep but good hidden merit associated to Gunbower (picnic) maiden win last prep over 1800m, 2nd home won $12k maiden next start and other form refs further back adds decent depth, outside claims at big odds.

Cessnock R5 - 3.50pm 1150m Mdn $10K
Name Price Comment
No12 Sweet Talkin Woman 4.20 10-14++??, represents the astute yard of Kris Lees, well bred by More Than Ready out of an Entrepenuer/Zabeel dam line, soft trial in prep for return btn 13l at Gosford (read nothing into it), prior to debut last prep ran 0.5l 2nd to Gossips in a 4 horse trial at Nerwcastle, Gossipscame out and beat Ratbag in a $14K maiden over 900m at Newcastle by 2.3l, reads well for this, potentially well above this level
No1 Astral Flyer 4.60 14++??, unleashed big closing pars 1st up to finish 2nd btn 0.8l by Acrylic at Muswellbrook over 900m, only one to make up ground on leaders, further improvement expected here 2nd up over a more suitable 1150m, sent around 40/1 that day so minor reservation around truth of form but hard to ignore.
No8 Stakhanov 8.20 10-14??, lightly raced with a decent speed pedigree by Foreplay out of a Bahamian Bounty mare who has already produced the very good sprinter Believe 'N Achieve (carrer mark 15-7-0-0 $182K), close up in decent maidens compared to what it faces here and prior to debut finished 2nd in a Warwick Farm trial btn 0.3l by Droste, well placed.
No4 King Richard 9.60 10-12+??, 1st up this prep was 3.5l 3rd in a small field maiden at Wyong, fitter now but no scope for further improvement on best form from 2 preps ago, in the mix
No2 Blackzak 13.00 10+??, glimpses of form last prep suggests is up to this maiden tag, mixes form but mostly tried in stronger maidens last prep, warrants one more chance.
No6 My Chun Chun 13.00 10+??, trial winner at Warren prior to 2 average effort last prep, off the scene since 402 days since, tuned up with trial 4th at quirindi in prep for return, well bred by Elusive Quality, full relation to 5 time winner Initiative, stable switch to a more astute yard now, has now been gelded for return to racing.
No13 Noverach 17.00 10+??, 2yo taking on older horses after failing on debut in a strongish maiden at Wyong but only btn 6.3l behind Flight Of Pegasus that day, Dale Spriggs booked from the 2 gate added bonuses, decently bred by Noverre out of a Danehill Dancer mare.
