Actually that winner was only beaten 4.4 lengths last start by Triple Elegance and Graceful Anna both of which would have been very short in the betting if they had been in this, is it to late to get on now?? lol

I don't consider 4.4 close Jim but then I've always had the horse pegged as a stayer Undecided

Gin believe me 4.4 is close when it is in a better field or even in a similar field, horses can easily fluctuate that much, especially after a first up run, only about 0.6 of a second, you have to add that together with the price, 4.4 lengths against 50/1 he was big overs, if I had done the form a little closer(too bloody lazy as I already thought Trader would win) I am sure I would have had something on him, probably $70/80 on Betfair

Seal go and get a copy of "Let It Ride" and it will pick you up off the floor and give you the will to go back into the Battle

Jim - I understand the class factor, I just hate the horse (bobs when you least expect) and the stable (very inconsistent)  rant

Still I thought 1400m 2nd up he'd struggle to keep up  shy

So did everyone, me included, the only redeeming feature was that he was over what he probably should have been, probably should have been around a max of $15/20 purely on his last run, trouble with most punters and it is human nature but we have pre conceived perceptions(bias) and we don't see the Forrest for the trees
