I was certain I started a topic for Azzaland some time ago but couldn't find it. chin
He is due to resume from long spell tomorrow after 2 operations,I believe he looks well after winning a trial recently but I would imagine if the track condition changes over night he wouldn't run.I hope he comes back ok but would think he is a day to day prop.

I was right Azzaland was scratched before the races were called off,I'm not sure but I would imagine he would now have a heavy track ban on him.

I went to Toowoomba at the weekend and as I have never seen Azzaland in the flesh I took myself along to his stables on Sunday and wow I was impressed with him but I thought he was a bit front heavy which could account for his two ops on those front legs but he is a lovely horse that is looking great, even tho he didn't start I would imagine the trip to Brisbane and I know he gets a bit hot at the races those things would have been like a run for him so he should be ready for his next start.

Magic I'm just going on what I was told on Sunday that the forman rang Richie who was on his way to Brissie that it was pouring at the races so he was pulled out then, the horse was already at the track.

OK mate,

You can get wet track bars removed pretty easily I think

If he can get a dry track and a good marble he'll be winning soon

Guys I would hope that the stewards would be a little easy on Azzaland if he was to run on a wet track after a couple of runs as I would imagine they didn't want to run him first up after his ops on EF wet tack, if it was Doomben perhaps he may have stayed in as it is a way better wet track,we shall wait and see but he will be a quick winner IMO.

I can't wait for the new 2yo season to start later this year there is a 1/2 to Azzaland named Azzalin,Azzaland is the best the mare has had, Miss Rye racing at the present isn't showing any form so will see if the similar name to Azzaland helps, anyone know who has it??.

Class and first use of the slow track made it fairly easy for Azzaland,I hope a few got on as the price was very nice. thumbsup

The jockey loooked very good. I was surprised doing the form after the race to see he was a 3 kilo claimer, Looked as good as any one up there baring Browne.
