I was certain I started a topic for Azzaland some time ago but couldn't find it. chin
He is due to resume from long spell tomorrow after 2 operations,I believe he looks well after winning a trial recently but I would imagine if the track condition changes over night he wouldn't run.I hope he comes back ok but would think he is a day to day prop.

Lads, his trial was done with ease. Azzalin is a big grey who seems to do everything with ease. We've got a decent opinion so hopefully he will show his class at Rosehill this sat. Owner TMCD

Congrats mate,

If he is any where near as good as his brother, you will have lots of fun  thumbsup

Well, not many 2yos have done back 2 back wins this season…probably worth backing against Cavalry Rose this time and Azzalin looks a good candidate. Looked like a 3yo in thrashing trial.
Expect to see a big run Thumb Up

Darn I have been waiting for this one, there was a leading vic trainer after Azzaland so he may go after Azzalin if it shows promise,I can never comprehend why people go to the trouble and pain of breeding to then lease the progeny. chin

I heard a whisper that I consider good news as will a lot of racing people, the big man of racing Richie Stephenson is considering a comback to training after a health scare,he is working hard at the gym (I'd love to see that) to get his health better and is only planning to have one or two horses (I would say it would depend on Azzaland comeback again) Richie's wife Betty hasn't been well either so that will keep his team small.Good luck Richie wink

I heard that Richie's wife Betty has had a heart op so may slow his return to training.Best wishes to you both. smiley

I also heard that Azzaland's comeback is looking good.
