This well bred mare that we raced and was a dud on the track has been given a huge chance at stud by the people who bought her from us,her first foal Zorro's Shield ran 2nd yesterday but I haven't heard of his sire Zorro's Lad,but I will wait with enthusiasm for her other progeny to race,a colt by Danehill Dancer who was sent to NZ in '07 (don't know his name),a colt by Choisir,a colt by Undoubtedly and in Dec she was covered by Grey Swallow these last 4 sires are fave's of mine so I thank her owner for the chance he is giving her.

Zorro's Shield ran 3rd yesterday so must be due for a win soon.
Shield Maiden has a colt in the GC MM sale lot 1197 by super stallion Choisir so hopefully that one should be a real sprinter.
She slipped the Grey Swallow covering this year.
