Firstly, well done to WordedMeat for living the dream, my day is not quite as good $$ wise, but huge for me . Cheers WM  beer

Don't know how many watch Adelaide racing, but Buddy gave me my first Black Type winner  with the win in today's Listed City of Adelaide Handicap. He's clearly the best I've ever had (7 from 12 starts including 5 in a row).

Given he's 4, whilst he may not hit the heights, we have high hopes he'll keep the fun rolling.

great day for a few forumites - well done mate - I found it very tough at randwick today -

even the last 2 minutes of the sharkies game prob wasn't even a dampener after that

Thanks for reminding me, I thought sitting in the corner, fingers in ears, & rocking back and forth for 30 minutes had fixed that.

Unfortunately, as a long term Sharks fan (ya get less for murder) I have sort of become accustomed to disappointment

It has also served me well most of the time in horse ownership

Thanks guys, it seems he really is one tough bugger.

Given the run that was more than we should have expected. If you told me 9 months ago I'd be disappointed in a 2nd in a G3 I would have laughed at you.

Hope to have a few years fun with this guy  fingers crossed he is only 4 so let's hope he stays sound.

On to the 1600 RA Lee in 2 weeks

Well it's Buddy's big day on Sunday, still rock hard so should go OK.  fingers crossed

We seem to be fave, but there are a few that are a concern, but if the tempo is right, watch out . . . .

Biggest day as an owner, flying over tomorrow, should be fun  beer
