The trifecta in the Doncaster Prelude yesterday - $15k....  What a joke.

That's because you are  permitted to have something like 5% of a trifecta and therefore couple a lot more horses for the same outlay - previously you were only able to have 50%. Trifecta punters are now able to include the outsiders in their trifectas now.

Based on the win approximates of the placegetters, my estimate of the trifecta is $14,400.

So looks fine to me. Thumb Up

I should add that I'm working on a 20% deduction from TAB trifecta pool.

If it's less, the divvy will be a bit more than $14k.

Further, my estimate of the Exacta is $1076 - it paid $1070

My estimate of the Quinella is $520 - it paid $499

My estimate of the First Four is $221,000.  No one got it on a pool of $43,000.
