I have never wanted a horse to win again as badly as I want this horse to do well over our carnival,he is out of our best mare we raced Nina Haraka and was her last live foal before she sadly passed away.
I had great hope for a champ from her when Robert Sangster bought her off us after she finished racing and sent her straight away to Danehill but she didn't produce a foal from him but her third mating produced a stakes winner by Dash for Cash and Gai has Brandt racing for Star Thoroughbreds but Levi has been the one I really thought could turn out very good so my fingers are crossed as I'm pleased that Patinak his him as he will get his chance. fingers crossed

A bit disappointing yesterday, may still be feeling that heavy track in Sydney but I thought it wasn't a good ride by JC he seemed to keep steering him into trouble which Jim can do just as he can do a great ride at times,I liked the run of Levi's stablemate in that race.

Considering pumper came up solely to ride Levi's Choice, I was definitely expecting a better showing.  An awkward gate certainly didn't help.

Another jockey change for Levi this Sat,Scott Galloway this time takes over from Dwayne Dunn but another bad gate 18 wont help him even though he has been ridden back lately,he looked great a fortnight ago so if the track has some give in it he could improve as I thought he was still feeling the run in Sydney on that bog track his two runs in Brissy. fingers crossed

Oh dear another bad run yesterday, the horse is looking fabulous and was even giving sexy steps in mounting yard proving he is feeling good but just not putting in,is he looking at Eagle Farm with more room?, his mum didn't like being surrounded by horses, Levi should have had a run on the outside from his gate but didn't so they must be scratching their heads at Thompsons stables, will see if they go ahead with the Derby, seems a waste of time but you never know. Shrug

At last a bit of form by Levi today, missed the start and was making nice ground on the inside when it looked like Izababe clipped his heels when he switched towards the fence and fell Levi got going and finished a fair third,I hope the stable was happy at last.

No hope yesterday.

He was, what I thought, the SMH FORM's cartoon tip.

They win every blue moon - and had a win a fortnight ago - so this bloke was carrying the grandstand.

Levi ran a shocker last Saturday but Brandt had a win for new trainer Kylie Gavenlock on Thursday so congrats to them it was good to see him back in the winners circle. Thumb Up
