I hope that we get the same crowd out there this Saturday as we did for Black Caviar  lol  because the fields look outstanding!

I thought last year's Winter Carnival had shaped up as the best yet, but from the depth in each race on the weekend... I think we have something to look forward to.

Special reference to the BRC Sprint on that front - the horses attempting to make the Stradbroke, per medium of a method of avoiding Black Caviar and Hay List.

Was caught wide down the back Magic so slid forward to get in instead of sitting wide   Thumb Up did keep rolling once clear in the lead and opened up a sizeable lead chin

Hung on really well imho, entitled to compound after the lead he opened up Undecided

Did it matter in the end Shrug

A breather middle stages would have mattered I would have thought Gin.

Have no problems with him going forward, just the fact he didn't try and give him a breather.

I really like this horse, looks a great type   Thumb Up

What would be his next run over carnival, a lot of the Cups races I would guess, Caloundra Cup would suit him right down to the ground ?

He does look the goods.

I've just never been a big fan of backing Moroney trained horses, they seem to be too hot and cold for my liking  chin

That said I did save on him yesterday.

Yeah but to go out on that length lead???

Turn it up it was a terrible ride, and the horse probably should have won the race looking at how it stuck on.

I dunno whether he had any option but to race away like he did.  Unless ya a VR, ya not gonna win WFA races like that. unsure

Was a good run, and he's obviously a smart performer.

Well, I had it set to hit the horse running 2nd at the first turn.  I didn't factor in Our Lukas missing the kick. Sad

The good thing is, I have the mix right.
