Aiden O'Brien with 60% of the field.

So You Think should not have too much trouble.

Should win by 3 from Await The Dawn and Famous Name.

So You Think (AUS) odds-on for Tattersalls Gold Cup 18 May 2011

Racingpost.com

Ex-Australian star So You Think has been installed the 1-3 favourite with Paddy Power for Sunday's Tattersalls Gold Cup at the Curragh.

So You Think, a five-time Group 1 winner when trained by Bart Cummings in Australia, won his European debut for new trainer Aidan O'Brien in a Group 3 over course-and-distance earlier this month and was on Tuesday among the ten confirmed for the Tattersalls Gold Cup at the five-day entry stage.

Six-time Group 3 scorer Famous Name is the 7-2 next-best with So You Think's stablemate Await The Dawn a 7-1 chance and British raider Campanologist priced up at 7-1.

Among the 16 withdrawn from the event were Monterosso, Poet, St Nicholas Abbey and Music Show. As expected, Workforce was also among those withdrawn after connections decided such a competitive seasonal debut was unwise.

Surely Star ex-Australian or Star ex-New Zealander So You Think would be a better description.

I'll await Geoff's confirmation or otherwise.

chin

Only really got away from them right at the end and jockey seemed to be riding him out. Can't do more than win I suppose.

One thing. I'm never going to question the validity of a Group 1 race in Australia again!

I watched it in a little weeny SKY media center window sharing the screen with a novice hurdle from Kelso.

He seemed to win comfortably but he didn't jump the second flight all that well  huh

That shared screen was pretty silly. It was mostly pre race for a 3 mile hurdle. Dingbats.

Loved his run tonight. He is settling beautifully. Nowhere near wound up. Gunna take a bloody good horse to get near him. He was 2nd up and I think they can have him peaking through his eyeballs whenever they see fit.
