I worry about WOORIM with this kinda weight. chin  Good luck to the Heathcote team and the Cutts family. beer

Lots of chances as expected.  I'm giving last year's winner LUCKY LUNA an EW hope.  $13 the drum at present.  Has been plagued by bad draws.  Likes soft.

With the track likely to be on the softish side I might have a little go with Dalzar.

I bet we won't get the 100-1 again.

good luck S

No chance of the 100/1 again but Tattsbet did offer 25/1 on opening which was pretty generous I thought given Dalzar's track record at Caloundra on rain affected tracks and over this distance!! what

Good to see Hand Brake Harry Reed sponsoring the Race Club and Race, Good Bloke.

I think Handbrake played for the Chocolate Soldiers till he woke up to himself and moved to God's Country.

Well done Harry.

The track was way better than anticipated, yet WOORIM went out at juicy odds.

Masterly ride by Browne, and a dominant win by the Heathcote horse.  He'll give them something to beat in the Melbourne Spring.

Pleased for the horse, stable and connections.

I think given the conditions and the way the track was playing the price was fair.  I doubt any other horse around could have done what he did today.

No, mate, I gave myself a day off.  lol

Just on the track - and ya'd be a dill to use track times as the sole determinant in assessing track conditions - last year he carried 53 kg on a track rated DEAD and ran 1:25.45.  This year, carrying 58.5 kg, he ran 1:24.81.  Yet the track was rated SLOW.  Either he's improved a lot, or the rating was questionable, or a bit of both. Shrug
