Hi Junior, I have found that a letter or email to raceclubs secretaries in Australia at least is usually handled expeditiously and they outline the Course Records for their track/s. Many of the figures are already on their internet sites. Just google and see what comes up.
The table entries of modified Par Values below may help as a start point although, they are not used much when restricting yourself to Australian Racing. These are for distances 1000 to 2400 metres. As I don't use these entries much they do appear as if they were all set off the same base and very few modifications have taken place. So if you use them you should be prepared to modify them up or down as experience tells you that they are not truly set values. All times are in tenths of seconds. My Speed calcs are done with calculation derived from the book "Scientific Racegoing" .

Can't be sure how good they are as I only strive to be "vaguely right" rather than "precisely incorrect".
