In the last week it has come to my attention that Sporting Bet is no longer offering punters the opportunity to bet with them on the declared daily doubles on all meetings operated by Tatts (Unitab). For a reason best known to them, they have switched to offer the declared Supertab daily doubles.Admittedly Tatts conducts daily doubles on different races to Supertab, but why the switch by "Australia's biggest bookie" ?

Surely not rebates ?

Wouldn't take a genius to realise that corporate bookies are the major recipients of rebates.

The Governments create/endorse this situation unfortunately.

Some on here have an issue with punters rather than Govts.

They should look to the real culprits

Supertab do not have trebles, but it looks as if they are retaining the Tatts extra doubles because NSW neither nor Supertab conduct extra doubles.
