Amazing high speed and can run quarters most only dream of...

19 wins from 26 starts and only 3 still..

Anyone want to predict how good he is and how far he can go??

Is there anyone that might doubt him ??

No doubt from me but we've seen many a great 3yo not step up as an older horse

Rufus Young Blood won 4 Derbies did he not?

You only have to look at Courage Under Fire to see a change after the 3yo career.

Having said that SS looks special and I hope he carries on with it next year.

Agree that until they actually do it, there always has to be some doubt about star 3 y/os stepping up to the Grand Circuit.
But the closest Sushi Sushi has come to being beaten this season was a half neck in the Great Northern Derby. There he was targetted by team Purdon in the run, but still ran 1.57.4 for the 2700m. Based on overall times alone, which under sells Sushi Sushi's effort doing it all himself without a trail, that time would've earnt him 3rd in the Auckland Cup about 30 mins later. Only hardened GC pacers Mr Feelgood & The Mighty Quinn ran quicker (0.2 secs).
I reckon he'll handle the step up pretty comfortably.

He has a lot more depth to him stamina wise than CUF and Auckland Reactor did as 3  year olds.
He can also handle being softened up which neither of the 2 kiwi cream puffs latterly showed.
His Derby wins were both superb staying efforts, his Great Northern Derby was  actually a NZ record for a 3 year old and quicker than Smoken Up ran in the Interdominion Final. It was only 1.2 secs outside the NZ allcomers mark for 2700 metres.

He looks the main one from an exceptional crop of 3 year olds that should make an impact at GC level this season, Gold Ace and Terror To Love are no slouches either.

That's a fair few GC wins to recoup that kind of money isn't it?

Would depend what he wins to be honest.  An Inter or 2 would help.

If i was worth a few mill I would keep him but, given my current status, SELL SELL SELL

I'd try and keep 10%
