19 wins from 26 starts and only 3 still..

If i was worth a few mill I would keep him but, given my current status, SELL SELL SELL

I'd try and keep 10%

I am with Geoff and would carry him to the float by piggyback.......

Here is the problem Wily. What if the 10% is all you own like in most horses these days are syndicated.

I own a share in a 2yo filly we bought at sales this year. There are 6 in it but 3 other owners i have never

ever laid eyes on. I imagine the selling/offer of a million dollar horse with people in all different financial

situations who don't know eachother is a recipe for absolute disaster.

Maybe you are better off if the horse is a slow galloping trotter and the offer is 4k and the whole 6 of you are piggybacking

him to the float .  biggrin   biggrin

Wow very hard decision to make. I think I'd sell 50% for 500k without a second thought. But selling the lot? Not sure about that. I bet he's the best horse they've had and are ever likely to have.

Potentially yes but not yet for some of the owners mate....

Weona Chief
Weona Warrior
Sabalize (ran 2 miracle mile placings to Chokin and Iraklis) and she is Sushi's mum,

Just to name a few off the top of my head.. Weona Standardbreds have pumped plenty into the sport and had plenty
of very very very good ones over the years... Thumb Up   Thumb Up   Thumb Up

The other side of the coin is a million bucks aint what it used to be. And you can have a lot of fun with a champion racehorse (if that's what he turns out to be...)

On In the Gig last night it was said that the owners aren`t short of a quid and if they took the rumoured offer they would more than likely just pump the money into looking for another one as good as what they already have.

So I guess if you don`t need the cash why sell.

Blacky was gelded and luckily they didn't take 1,000,000 as he won about 20 of his first 25 before even stepping foot out of QLD.
and they were getting offers early on.

Would be an interesting story as to why they gelded him so early when being extremely well bred but once again

why would you send a mare to him when you could just go to his dad down the track who is doing so well.

Blacks A Fake raced in Victoria at his 19th start, and his next 8 starts were all outside of Queensland.
He had won 16 of his first 18 starts.

I can see him being another Lombo Pocketwatch, competitive but no star on the Grand Circuit.

Had to laugh when I saw Pocketwatch and Mandingo nom'd for the inter.
