Everyones favourite time of year is just around the corner. The noms are up for the plates and cups.
Obviously its very early in the piece before we see glimmers of form leading into the big races.
Who do you think will be a contender in the major races? Any up and comers you think will be there abouts in spring? Any old favourites you think will be succesful again?

Personally I like Torio's Quest coming into the spring among many others.

Say what Seal - what cup will JC be entered in?

Good post adrianj - spring is close - great time of year  smiley

Still sorting through the form, get the feeling I'll go around the OS travellers this year.

Should have a contest where we nominate a horse for the big 3 races. At the end of each race, the winner is the nominated horse who finishes in front of all the other nominated horses by others regardless if it wins the actual race or not. If the winning horse has been nominated by a few, the winning share would divided by the number of nominees.

We are going to have a similar contest at my work for the cup when the noms come out.  Each horse costs $5 and no limit on number of horses. It is a sweep with a twist.
