What can people tell me about him ?

I see he rides a lot of barrier trials but rarely rides in races.

He does not seem to be a heavy weight, the rides he has had are around the 54 mark.

He rides the rogue Jungle Rocket today for Greg Mcfarlane

RACE 4: Stylecraft Handicap 2000m:

Jungle Rocket got its head up on a number of occasions on jumping away, striking its rider, Mark Whiteman, in the face, resulting in the mare being retired out of the event. After interviewing rider M Whiteman and trainer Mr G Mcfarlane, and acting on the advice of Mr Mcfarlane that Jungle Rocket would now be retired to stud, the Stewards took no action, other than to place on the mare’s record that it would be required to perform satisfactorily in a series of barrier trials if it is to resume its racing career. A post-race veterinary examination of Jungle Rocket revealed the mare to have quartered its off fore heel.

Just checked out Jungle Rocket's career.

Her first four starts yielded two seconds and two wins including the NZ Oaks in which the AJC Oaks winner Daffodil ran 4th.

She then had only one more placing in her next seventeen starts with eight lasts.

Obviously she hasn't been a happy camper doing the racing bit.

He has two rides today at Cowra, The best of which looks to be Carnegie Hall. Looking at the video he probably should have won on him last start in a similar race at Bathurst. The horse might be looking for further now though.

Hi People,
Just to answer a few questions raised on here about myself.
I'm from NZ but got out of race riding about 3 1/2 to 4 years ago to take up Speedway Racing in which time i also helped prepare and travel with horses to Hong Kong.
As to the question about weight, no I'm not a natural lightweight but have put in a concerted effort in to try and ride the minimums to give myself more opportunities at securing rides..
Ive ben very lucky to have the support of David Payne and Greg McFarlane.
To the person who thought it was funny, re the incident with Jungle Rocket try to image being smacked in the face repeatedly with a baseball bat and then tell me how funny you think it is chin
Just out of interest my last 10 rides have resulted in 4 wins a 2nd and 2 Jockeys Challenges
Hope this helps abit
