A great run last night by Meld after setting a sizzling pace held on well to be beaten by boom horse Target and TVN said both will go on with it.

Good talk around about Grande Jardin's chances today. love

A very nice run by Grande Jardin he held on well to get 2nd after a not well judged race by Oliver (normal)he will shine when he gets further than 1000m and is in the slipper which could suit.

I'm so proud of the progeny this weekend,Meld and Grande Jardin ran great 2nd's,Zorro's Shield ran 3rd at good price and Morcombe bolted it by 4L at a good price,Sanjuan led but field was too strong for him but he finished in a bunch out of the placings yesterday.

That's ok koolcat.. I'm always interested to see what the Lloyd Williams' horses go for.. the mares you raced must have been pretty handy..

Thanks BB,they were mostly handy but very well bred and I have never met anyone like Colin Hayes at picking a likely winner, gee I missed him when he passed away we weren't as lucky after he went,I hope Grande Jardin goes well tomorrow as I loved his mum and I would love the owners to get a good return on their 1.5 mil outlay.

Well.. if he's well bred.. with some track performance, he'll always have a great time as a stallion. Do you still have race horses?
