Sepoy would have been jogging at the 200m and won easily.Manawanui could sit mid field and finish just as strong as Smart Missile.

Smart Missile only got really going for about 80 meters and still won

Thought it was a great win, but he is very coltish. Barrier manners were off again, and doesn't look like he knows what he is doing. Will be a challenge for Cummings to extract the very best out of him, but if he does, could be top of the tree. Wonder if Cummings' Dad will give him any advice chin

No doubt Smart Missile was very, very impressive. It was also a very good return from Helment for mine as well - looks like he is looking for a mile plus and Snowden was saying all week he was a long way from being fully wound up, and yet he loomed with smart missile until the last 75m or so and then looked like he knocked up. Caulfield Guineas?

Both Helmut and Smart Missle have the same achilles heel.

Smart Missile at the barrier, Helmut in the straight.

Only a split second away from stuffing things up good and proper.

I had real doubts on Helmet going into this - but I noted how 'bullish' G Boss was on him this morning - was a real wrap for his run.

What time did SM run himself? 34.64 or say 33.3?
And how did it compare with others for the daY?
Sounds like a hot 600 sectional to me alright.

Looking over the sectionals for the other races on the day, although there wasn't much else of note running Smart Missile's last 600m was by far the fastest for the day, and i believe Helmet's was the 2nd fastest. I think a lot of this horse, but as others have said, just have concerns with the trainer

*edit* sorry about the formatting. the sectionals can be downloaded below or accessed from tvn's website
