I get the impression there is something very very very freakish about Smart Missile.

Not wrong mate, but, I reckon Mr Snowden's gonna have a very tough time ironing - if this guy aint screaming out 'geld me' then I'll be....

However, ya certainly not wrong beer

Smart Missile will have to make up 4-5 lengths on Helmet.

He is pretty good, Helmet.

I don't think too many will run past him this prep. Saturday might be the time to do it.

Sorry. Just reread my post and it is confusing. Didn't  mean SM was a 4-5 length inferior horse, just that he might be that far behind him in the run and will have to make up that ground at some stage. Looking at it, I thought Helmet might be in the first pair. Smart Missile might be in the last 4 and possibly the last 2 in the run.

Not saying he can't do it. I have loaded up on SM for the Rose at $4.50. Think it's a ridiculous price. With this race, I'm just worried that he might be a bit behind Helmet. Barrier hurts SM.

I pictured Smart Misslie sitting 2 to 3 lengths off Karutta Queen in 2nd or 3rd spot and pouncing in the straight.

Think you would have to be mad to take tomato sauce odds on anything trained by A Cummings.

That is a ver very very very good point.

Is Smart Missile attempting to become the first horse trained by A.Cummings to win 3 races in a row ?

Was thinking the same thing as you guys  lol

Absolute cracker of a race. One 'll be watching intently but apart from maybe a quaddie, more an interest race to see how some of these good horses have come up, especially Smart Missile given his conquest of Sepoy at their only encounter.

Was this race called "The Rosebud" last year? That race (listed for 3yo over 1200m on the 6th Aug 2010) was won brilliantly by Aeronautical - not seen since. What happened to him???
