Most of these are gone, or at least going.

It may well be dead,  but in this field, it would still be a chance of picking up a cheque.

Yep. Aweful race. Without cheating, can only count 8 Group 1 winners plus last year's Melbourne Cup runner up. Maybe Peter Mair is right and they should cease racing in NSW immediately.

A brief glance tells me that there isn't one horse in this list of nominations that has won an open G1 WFA race in Melbourne.
Not sure where must of these are headed, but I would bet it isn't far.

A brief glance tells me that none of 'em have even raced in an open G1 WFA race in Melbourne, and I'm not even sure why that is the "measuring stick"  Undecided

Looking at the noms for the equivalent G2 in Melbourne on Saturday, I'd have to say that the owners of Littorio would stand more of a chance picking up a cheque down there  wink

The dead horse has raced a few times in open G1 WFA races in Melbourne as has Trusting and Black Piranha

Far from the best Chelmsford Stakes field I have ever seen.  What would have Theseo done to these.  Anyway, looks like a no bet race I dare say.

I think if My Kingdom of Fife grinds out a 1 length victory we will all be kicking ourselves afterwards.

"SECRET ADMIRER will kill em if she lines up"

I heard on the radio that Secret Admirer will more likely run in the Tramway. If I was the trainer I would run in the Chelmsford. More price money, easier race. She would belt them. Only competition would be My Kingdom Of Fife.
