I thought Dreamaway had had a set back and was back in Perth  chin

Interesting to see how she measures up in the longer races and against the eastern staters

Pinker Pinker all the waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay !!!!!!

Won 2 from 3 at Flemington and 2 from 3 second up.
Was enormous first up and looks to be back better than ever.
She is a very classy animal.

$26 for Caulfield Cup and reckon it will be a bit shorter after this race.

Zaira comes from the same wonderful family of Jandell, she is Elusive Quality's 1/2, and is a real up and comer.
I am biased.... as I have a mare from same family, but I reckon she can stand up and be counted.
She was, to my mind, the best run 2 weeks ago at the valley, ran fastest time by a stretch for all 1200 m races that day....led the whole way.
She rated higher on return run than any prev wins IMHO and has now won 5 of 8 I think....straight from (88) race to a G2!!! a big jump alright
The Hawkes ' musta noticed the time as well!!!
Go Zaira!!!

Pinker Pinker and Do Ra Mi still look a run off (at least) to me

I think PP will go 2400 max and hit her straps in the Caulfield Carnival and DRM kept to the mile with the Myer her goal and a potential barnstormer like the last time she won there followed up by Emirates

DRM took forever to come to hand in her first prep, PP just looks well a little behind (and I backed her 2nd/3rd up in her last prep)

The winner to be Zaira who looked like she was really fit or Parables if she can catch her

A few of these are going well.  This will be a good race.

Now how on Earth does Mid Summer Music get only 55.5 and Parables not get any weight pull on her for last start?

That is really only a question the handicapper can answer.  But if it helps for what I think, I can only assume that it is because Parables has won at G2 level and Mid Summer Music is in reality "coming through the grades".

But point taken.
