As an always wanted to be budding musician, and actually got on rage tv a few times ha ha , can't help but to watch these shows,
I entered first australian idol, to many people never even got an audition,
Hey it is a bugger of a thing standing in that line for hours only to be told everyone to go home, the judges only see about 100 people a day and its a bit hard to beat the people camping with mohawks  biggrin

well this is a thread for the xfactor and singing shows in general

I thought the girl, Pamela Cook, who had breast cancer in 2010 was the best so far.

Didn't mind the little 14yo kid that sung the Celine Dion song "Power of Love."

I don't think Simon Cowell will be happy with the contestants this year, imo the worst batch of singers on any singing show lately,I'm watching The Voice too and don't think they are any better ,This years American Idol and Australias Got Talent produced some great finds but I don't think Xfactor will keep me watching as I have only watched 1/2 of one episode so far but like Ronan and Natalie as judges it makes me laugh at Guy Sebastian being a judge as he needs big names like Jordan,Miss Universe,Gina Jeffreys and Beyonce to get some recognition and sell albums to me he is a no talent.

I am in the same opinion Guy is hopeless he acts as he is this big star and travelling to LA to do live shows but i think there more pubs in LA
hes only still in the light because hes bum buddy with the sony guys thats the only possible way i can think he still in the light these days Shrug
He is by a stroke of light hanging on by a thread by the fact he was judge last year and judst made a smidgon of a song whos that girl walk in the club yada yada, yes he makes me laugh but also i get annoyed by the way he talks like he thinks hes something when everyone knows hes not

I like dhow kyle used to gig him like his first approach to get big being a christian goodboy didnt work and then suddly gets tats ect trying to make the market he needs to give up

I like how kyle used to gig him about such things ha ha , lol

I have the TV on Xfactor but have been bored untill Adio Vixen came on,I would say Ronan has a big chance again to be a winner.

Hey Kool Yes the groups are going great guns
I think declan has to be the trippiest vote people will want to keep him in dont think he will win thought
I think mels move with the blondie in the daiseys was the wrong move , the sets are amazing in the competition this year simon must be throwin bit extra cash for the sets aspect which is kewl
Yer i think it will be between one of ronanans groups and either the blondie for mel or also the avril style christina may just come threw and win she doesnt seem to miss a beat

Wingold,I believe Ronan and Guy's wages have doubled from last year that is why Simon is adamant that they find a super star this season,as it looks like the show they put on last year each week after the X Factor on 7two with that stupid girl that went out with the guy from Wild Boys & DWTS isn't on this year so they save money there,I agree the stage setups this season so far is way out but imo a little ott and distracts from the acts as there is too much in the background going on.

Yes it does distract , but i dont mind them i think its kewl what they can do with the stages,  but your right it may distract from if they actually are singing good or people just enjoying the sets,

Well you would think simon would be getting a bit annoyed as the amount of shows that he has running but limited stars produced from it, the forumla of the show just unfortantly really doesn't produce stars,

I think only 2 really after all the shows kelly clarkson, that keep dreaming song girl that was on with good charlotee, and susan boyle ,

where are all the other winnings they just fade for some reason i think the public can't be tricked into a game show star so easily, they want a star to be found from the old style still i think grinding away at pubs being discovered ect,

I like the shows but there pretty good and we may just might see the next big thing, i wonder how long these shows are going to keep going as soon as aus got talents finished its x factor simon must be making a fortune

The correct person got eliminated last night imo the blonde outsang her by a mile,I hope Nat doesn't make the same mistake that the other Nat did last year by dressing herself nicely but had her girls styling terrible that Red outfit and lipstick looked shocking on Monday night and last night she was having trouble again with her earpiece.I want to hear the tatoo'd guy do another good country song as he did Keith proud with the song he did at the start of the contest.

I agree the country singers good, and yes theres something to be said about the styling, I think mel is quite mean hows what she said to cloe i didn't want you in here anyway what a thing to say?

I'ts because she's the biggest sellng artist on the panel and she knows it, but sheesh give them a break thought cloe was gonna break in tears for a sec there, and i think cloe can sing better than she did to much going on with costumes and yes earpiece
