KCN

By Fastnet Rock out of Zabeel mare Regard. Atlantic Jewel is the first foal to race for Regard, who had 3 starts for 2 wins and a second. Regard was a daughter of Nanshan, a Nashwan mare with nothing special to report in the seven fillies she produced. Died this year at Emirates. The dam of Nanshan was Pass The Peace who produced UK G1 winner Embassy.

AJ was sold by Vinery for $340k at the 2010 MM premier sales (a Commands half sister was sold for $205k this year - good luck to them!).

Stakes or Principal Race Wins
Year Race Name Status Distance
2011 MRC One Thousand Guineas G1 1600m
2011   VRC Wakeful Stks G2 2000m

Before the race he comes up with the gem--no MC winning mare has produced a MC winner

What ?  All 11 of them ?   What a barren lot.

He's right, but it falls into the oxygen thief category.

Did he make any mention of Wakeful ?  There was only 3/4 length in the finish and she conceded the 3yo winner 48 LBS !!!!  (that's 22kg in the new money) - and she produced the 1918 winner Night Watch.

The Fastnet Rock 2000m "curse" well and truly ended.........

Almost a big double for Fastnet Rock with Foxwedge.

Now Elusive Quality's a chance for an even bigger, G1 double.

What. A. FREAK.

My god are we blessed with so many good horses at the moment it is unbelievable.

And it is for this reason that the true ability of THIS horse will probably remain slightly underestimated.

Do we have any confirmation from anyone in authority that she has done a hamstring?
OR, is this yet another lie from Kavanagh??

I think he is doing the right thing by not running in the Oaks, but there NEEDS to be a question over why?

All owners would like to know the answer to this question I reckon, ie can you trust your trainer is honest with you.

Not all are.

Please dont get me wrong, i am not bagging her but she is beating camels. The horses behind are midweekers.
Dowager Queen was trounced in Brisbane by Benfica and by Streama after that.
Somebody was telling me how good Mosheen was on  here, and she was the benchmark because it had been placed behind Sepoy and saying that Surround was beating nothing despite the fact it beat subsequent Derby winners and Cox Plate winners.
Well how did Mosheen go at WFA against mares?
Thats right mares, don't worry about the colts and geldings or older horses but she couldn't even run a place against the mares getting 8kg.
Helmet won the Caulfield Guineas in record time and never got sighted in the Cox Plate .
Surround won the Caulfield Guineas, beating good horses,  and won the Cox Plate beating older horses and i will repeat myself, REMAINS THE ONLY FILLY IN AUSTRALIAN RACING HISTORY TO DO SO.

I am sure we have a thread on this superstar filly already however the search engine refuses to find it.

Just reading that she is being aimed at Royal Ascot.

Wonder what races as a late 3yo filly by their time she will not be easy or suitably placed in any of the Championship events for fillies and or mares over there at that time of the year.
