WOW, this race is usually a bunch of second rate plodders but this year it looks the goods.

I've backed Illo and think he'll have a show in this. Will Bart then run him the McKinnon?

Do you think they will be trying on? Seems very short to me with the chance they have the intention of just sending him around.

Will Bart then run him the McKinnon?

if he doesn't then it'd have to be the lightest preparation for the Cup by a Bart horse (hasn't raced since 11 July!), what happened to his 'need 10km in their legs' practice smiley

My system has thrown up the top weight but I need a price of $4 or better in order to back it, which I think I'll be flat out obtaining which is good as I don't think it will win.  shy

PENALTIES

The winner, after declaration of weights, of any:
* internationally recognised Listed handicap, Group handicap or Graded handicap flat race, run over a distance of 1600 metres or further, or
* internationally recognised Listed, Group or Graded flat race run over a distance of 2300 metres or further
is to carry such additional weight (if any) for each win as the Handicapper shall determine.

Definately a penalty race.
