I've always wanted to train horses, at the moment i cant but maybe one day in the future id love to have a go

apart from being born into racing and learning from being a strapper and progression, how else would you become a racehorse trainer?

I assume you cant just buy one and race, but how would joe blow off the streets obtain a racing licence and actually learn things?

I assume if I got a job at a stable id learn alot of things, but i cant forgo my future for the love of racing... well not yet  fingers crossed beer

Not criticizing it, but not going to believe it, with out seeing how the research was undertaken.

For mine, the research seems very very thin on details, so would be very hard to come to a serious conclusion, on my behalf anyways.

This is more on the breeding side and a problem Australia doesn't have but in Japan most of the breeding is done in Hokkaido, cold and dark for many months.
Thought the piece in the following JRA journal was interesting.
