Race 1 - 11:20AM - Inglis Carbine Club Stakes - 1600 METRES
Of $250,000.1st $150,000, 2nd $45,000, 3rd $22,500, 4th $11,250, 5th $6,250, 6th $5,000, 7th $5,000, 8th $5,000 GROUP 3 Set Weights plus Penalties, Three-Years-Old, Apprentices cannot claim. This race carries a SUPER VOBIS Nominators Bonus of $10,000 for qualified horses. Field Limit: 16 + 4 EM

there was $3-$4 every time Pane raced Stream maybe more depth in those field but still Pane would take some of the market

The whips are cracking.....

Race 1 – INGLIS CARBINE CLUB STAKES (Group 3) - 1600 metres:

As the start was effected Cross Of Gold turned its head and as a result missed the start by approximately four lengths.

Flying Aquila was a little slow to begin and then made contact with Galah after being taken in by First Course.

L Nolen (Highly Recommended) was fined $500 for using his whip 12 times in a forehand manner prior to the 100m, which is 7 times more than permissible.

K McEvoy (Galah) was fined $400 for using his whip 6 times, 2 of which were consecutive, prior to the 100m in a forehand manner.

M Zahra (Durnford) was fined $300 for using his whip 7 times in a forehand manner prior to the 100m.

D Dunn rider of Meethaq explained the colt did not quicken as he would have expected and trainer Mr D O’Brien stated it was his intention to now spell Meethaq.  A post race veterinary examination of Meethaq revealed no abnormalities.
