Racehorse TALK Melbourne Cup Sweep !!

Drawn Cup Eve, Monday night at 8.00pm DST, 7.00pm EST.

Tickets sales up until 5.00pm Monday night, to allow for me to edit the software.

All Payments to be made via PayPal, as it is the easiest way for me to manage the money.

Ticket Cost: $20 + $1 Credit Card Transaction Fee

Prize Breakdown: Winner 60%, 2nd 25%, 3rd 10%, Last Place 5% (horse must complete the race)

Please be sure to add your Username when going through the PayPal Checkout, by clicking the "add" button next to where is says to add username

Ticket Number is order of purchase

Also Post on the forum, once you have purchased your ticket, plus the ticket number you are, by following the ticket in front of you, so for example, I am 1, triples is now 2-8, and betupbob is 9, so the next ticket will be 10 etc

Ticket numbers are in the order that you post, so do not forget to post on this thread after you have purchased

OK, just waiting for DD's payments to clear should be today or tomorrow, as it was a via a Bank Transfer, and not CC

But in the meantime, will try my best to transfer what has already cleared,

Sorry DD, wasn't questioning, your Payment, I have it in as a transaction in my PayPal account, just that it is still pending.

The same as a Bank to Bank transfer is not instant, 3 - 5 working days they normally say

Just want to say, that was a lot of fun, and using PayPal, even though not the best option for some, makes controlling the money a lot easier, and paying the winners even easier.

Might be an option, for doing more with that PayPal account, like bets between members, and more Sweeps, on lesser occasions, then the MC  Shrug

Agreed Magic certainly worked well for this process. Thanks DD but not in the slightest concerned about non payment. We've passed funds back & forth many times now & never had an issue. Will probably just use it for the visit to Gold Coast races with Chuggers anyhow........

spudda just remember to tell chuggers he won't be allowed into Qld , let alone the Gold Coast unless he changes his footwear.
If he turns up in the same gear as he did for the Sydney bash they'll think he's a pommy tourist.  biggrin
