I've had my account closed. Fair dinkum, only won about $400 in the last 3 months! Reason given....I only bet best tote on tier 3 meetings and it's hard for that to be viable for them.
Newsflash, don't offer it then! rant

Similar story.

I was cut off because I was winning on jockeys challenges and they said they didnt have enough staff to monitor such small markets.

Mate of mine was in Sydney for a social weekend a few months ago, and where they had set up for the day was close walking distance to Tom' stand. He bets one to a few hundred a race, backs one or two chances most races, half way through the arvo after placing all his bets with him, winners and losers but was probably $500 in front they started halving his bets, saying that the was winning to well and they needed to restrict their liability. He was gobsmacked, and asked if this was the same Tom Waterhouse who big notes himself with all of his media advertising. Not the first time I have heard it, he's only after the mug losers, not the general punter.

Good thing he wasn't born to wear the baggy green, he'd have asked opposition bowlers to slow down

Does Tom have a stand in the grandstand?

I thought Tom moved his business to Melbourne and no longer had a stand in Sydney?

As far as I'm aware, and I attend the track on Saturdays regularly, Tom Waterhouse  (either in person or his business) hasn't fielded in the Sydney ring for well over a year, since he moved to Melbourne.

Robbie Waterhouse fields in the Sydney ring other than when he is on holiday or down in Melbourne for the carnivals.

I thought if you stood up you had a liability you had to bet to?  chin

I'm surprised they haven't been beating down my door with free offers to join up the way I'm going at the moment

Well the story re told to me was that it was Tom, at Randwick, as I understand it in the first few months of this yr. The person concerned certainly doesn't tell lies, as for his betting activity the majority of it is done either with two of the major corporates or the main bookie at Capalaba if he ventures out.

You lot should've tried to get on to win $600 at Wenty Park with him. Now that was mission impossible.

You'd find bigger balls on a Chihuahua.
