Let's put this week's tips in PP's competition (up to 4 horses any major track in Australia)on this strand.

I'll keep an eye on them, total up the pretend winnings and then add the results to last Saturday's totals.

Better fortune to tipsters this week.

Three o'clock update

Brilliant starts by Racehorses (two winners and $163 up after 2 races) and monologue (one winner and $67 up after 1 race). 
Kato, Calgary, Wenona and Paulo have a placed horse, the rest of us haven't had any tips go around or, like me are firing blanks.

Four o'clock update

Not a very good hour at all for nearly all of us.

Arsenal pickwed up a short-priced winner at Doomben but otherwise a smattering of places and more failues.  Even Racehorses blotted his copy while rocketsurgeon and Paulow are finished for the day with 1 placings but 0 winners.

Let's see what the next hour will bring.

Five O'clock update.

A bit better performance in the last hour.  Sea Galleon (the best supported horse of the day) brought joy to wily ole dog, Calgery and me while Full Peal did to job again for Calgery and for me.  Other wise the cupboard was bare.

betupbob joins those who have finished the day without a winner.
wliy ole dog loses $9 for the day, Brian Mc(me) finishes $8 in front while Racehorses is back in the stable with a profit of $123.

In the next hour all except Calgary finish for the day.

What an honor to be leading the monthly comp among such esteemed forumites....oh yes only the 10th & a long way to go   biggrin

I warmed to Adebisi after realising he had being gelded came back & diid at both ends of a race first up for a win.  A son on Shovhog who from memory wa a a Danehil -l here he was 2nd up at 36/1 on betfair at one stage after having the worst of all cuts

Don't usually like them 2nd up but he produced the biccies

Glad to see we improved our overall position & can not believe DD is not leading the comp what
