Just wishing everyone on here a safe and merry christmas and hopefully a great 2012.

Don't think we have had to many winners this year compared to the past.

GAMMD continues to shine but his long lost owner has bailed on us.

Our SA trainer has had zero luck in 2011 but hopefully Port Pirie will find a star in 2012 (wont be from lack of trying).

QLD trainers bob their heads in now and then but we don't hear much from them.

Baggers continues to stick at it and one day soon his time will come with a good one.

Both of mine have gone North. One for good and one on his very last chance in 2012. New trainer maybe ???

We are all on this harness site due to the love of this great sport .......(Ohhhh hang on, Looking back on threads maybe we aren't hehehe).

Another well spent year of disagreements on many topics but thats why we keep coming back. Thumb Up   Thumb Up   Thumb Up

Enjoy Guys !!!!

So what did people get from Santa?

I've had one of my best hauls for years.

A got a framed print of my favourite Brett Whiteley - The Balcony 2; a book that goes through the numbers 1 to 200 and gives interesting facts and stories about each number; and a couple of great CD's - a post death Amy and Washington's latest   Thumb Up   Thumb Up .

The biggest surprise was my partners family Secret Santa. Uncle Louie who runs a second hand shop in Kyogle and stays with us when he comes for the Garage Sales  in Brisbane drew me and I scored a bunch of magazines - The October 1965 Victorian Racing Calendar, seven Sports Novels from 1961-2 (it's a monthly sports magazine with a heavy racing focus that was eventually absorbed into Racetrack Magazine), six racetrack magazines from the 1965-8 period, and two turf monthly's from 1974 and 1985.   Thumb Up   Thumb Up

I'm sitting back flicking through the mags sipping a 16yo Lagavulin from the fat man. Life's sweet.
