This is the latest in a series Challenges where the aim is to have a series of place bets using a fixed staking strategy and end up WINNING.
There are a neat total of 50 Shares at $60 each. Starting bank is therefore $3,000. (We also have some lose change from the last Challenge. That is in the Safe.)
There will be a series of 10 bets with a base unit of $6 each/per share. Base stake per day is thus $300.
Bets will be PLACE ONLY and will usually be on a Wednesday or Saturday or Public Holidays on SE Qld races. I pick the horses, and reserve to right to back more than one horse.
1. For the first 5 bets (#1 to #5), any return from the bet is distributed evenly among the remaining bets, thus increasing the base stake beyond $6. Say bet #2 gives a return of $16, we add $2 to the stake for each of the remaining 8 bets.
2. For bets #6 to #9, should they be successful we RETAIN THE STAKE, but distribute the PROFITS evenly among the remaining bet/s.
3. Obviously for bet #10 we keep any return.
Start day will be Saturday, provided the weather holds off.
Hopefully we'll end up with a share value of more than $60. But there's a risk that I will lose a bit, or lose the LOT.

OK, have heard back from all shareholders, and plan to start up on Saturday next.
Have found a few more optimists, as well.
Hope it'll be a fun ride for us all.

Also H9 is currently 6.17 the place fixed, I'm sure he's a better shopper than the 3.20
Names supercede numbers when errors are concerned anyway.
