There's plenty of rain around Oz at present and punters face a challenge with some pretty wet tracks.

Some continue to tell us "I had a big whack at the winner. I like betting on wet tracks, because you can rule out so many of the field".  Although, that's usually been after we all know the result.

Here's a thread to give our wet-track aficianados the opportunity to provide some advance intelligence on what to back and what not to back on wet tracks.

LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING SOME TIPS

Thanks to DD for posting this thread and to all that gave a contribution--I threw the formguide out today due to the heavy conditions---then after seeing this thread---got the guide out of the bin---and had a new look---well--thanks to all--I had a ball---and had a nice collect thanks to DD,Ascot,PP7, Spudda

Lets keep this thread open for the heavy tracks---better people than me on this issue.

" Will try to organise another wet track for next week.   "

Shouldn't be a problem according to the weather forecast DD.

Not A Single Doubt is starting to get a reputation as the best wet track sire in the land.

Canterbury started off Dead today but deteriorated to Heavy by the 6th race.

NASD had 3 runners at Canterbury:

Not A Dancer 1st $3.50
Watertight 1st $8.00
Knot Out 3rd $17

C'mon fellas.

Wet track for sure on Saturday at Randwick.

Show us how easy it is to win in the wet - "because I can always rule out a lot".

Mind you---Runway is better informed on track conditions---but this far out--and dry conditions from now till raceday--expect a slow---and NOT a heavy... in your assessments.....

The Doncaster this year is a classic F4 system 1-2-3 bet and my bankers are Sincero & Hyrtle M.

The Galaxy---wow---they are almost all wet trackers--makes it more interesting----F4--my bankers Bel Sprinter & Nobbys (never been beaten on a wet track)

I don't believe in this wet-tracker jazz.

It seems to me once a horse is recognised as one, stuff happens, and the best laid plans of mice and men often go awry.
