Helmet? Manawanui? Atlantic Jewel?

Had many discussions with mates about which horse we would be scared of beating Black Caviar at 1400m.

I don't think anyone will do it.  Are there any horses that could be aimed at those same 2 1400m races that she will race?

Who are the likely candidates?

Well the best 1400m runner appears to be Black Caviar.

Who will take on?

Prob nothing seriously expecting to beat her.

JB Cummings will run horses against her if the races are best fit.

Horses running in races like the Aust Cup will prob run.

The 3yo's who might have a chance in a normal year will dodge the race.

One of the problem with the 2 1400m races she is targeting is that they are invariably lead up races for races down the track. The horses runi=ning it them are using them to get fit. Neither should be group 1 races.

I think there are plenty of quality horses going up against her but which of them will be out to bust a gut trying to beat her ?

Will any of their jockeys be willing to sacrifice their immediate future by trying to make it a full on 1400m test and test the great mares stamina ?

A fit and healthy More Joyous is probably the best 1400m horse in the country. Where is she at ?

Where is Trusting ?

How much weight would BC get if they were to take on a Doncaster?

Does she get weighted the same as she would in a 1200 handicap or is it reduced because she's not proven at a mile?

She's definitely coming back, not sure what path is being plotted though.

Trusting trialled Friday.

Best 1400 m horse IMHO, and not mentioned yet, is Hay list, and the only horse I believe could beat her over 1400m's

It seems some of you think BC would over the 1400, she'd donkey lick anything thrown at her without a shadow of doubt.

Wake up people

Helmet? Manawanui? Atlantic Jewel?

Lets hope those 3 come back and prove themselves but history would suggest that one of them will not come up

Well as it is, Helmet is going OS, Manawanui is having light autumn & Atlantic Jewel, most likely tackling F&M grade - notwithstanding her issues from spring.

Agreed.

She will prove to be.

Does anybody have an idea of a likely field or are we just guessing. Have any trainers said they are targeting the same races?

She'll be far more superior than Weekend Hussler over 1400-1600, no doubt
