Helmet? Manawanui? Atlantic Jewel?

Had many discussions with mates about which horse we would be scared of beating Black Caviar at 1400m.

I don't think anyone will do it.  Are there any horses that could be aimed at those same 2 1400m races that she will race?

Who are the likely candidates?

Pinker Pinker targetting one of them, cant recall, was in the SMH.

Trainer says she will have to be basically 100% fit, doesnt want her to be soft and bottom her out chasing black caviar

I am assuming you mean 1400m at WFA and wondering how many will say Black Caviar.

Aim of the thread was to start putting a list of horses together that she may face.

Looks like Southern Speed will be 2nd fav in the first 1400m race and Pinker Pinker will be second fav in the second.

Unfortunately despite these two races being championship events they will not and do not attract the best horses over the trip.

We are a strange racing nation.

I think all of these from the Doncaster markets would be good challengers for her but sadly, none will be there

Did I read, hear or dream that Rain Affair is going to take on the wonder mare in the Futurity stakes ?

Now this would be a marketers dream race.

Hopefully the Moody camp forget about the Lightning.

Current plan is for the apollo , the same week as the futurity but will keep the futurity open as an option and may head that way if conditions suit (wet)
