The closest currently racing is Hay List who has won races everywhere except South Australia and Tasmania where he is yet to race.
Vo Rogue won races in 4 different states as did Bomber Bill.
Takeover Target won races in 5 different states and 4 different countries, a benchmark unlikely to be superseded anytime soon.
Sailor's Guide won major races in Victoria, NSW, Queensland and the states of Maryland and Massachusetts in the USA along with the province of Ontario in Canada.
Strawberry Road won races in 3 Australian states and 4 different countries.

If any horse has won in every state in Australia, barring ACT & NT, I would be astounded. Looking at horses that have won in Tassy, the catch to the query, and two mainland states I have come up with only Knee High, which won in Queensland & Victoria and ran second in WA but I doubt there are any others who have won in two mainland states and also won in Tassy.
I am wrong see later posts

I think Takeover Target is the king. He won at Group 1 level in each mainland state, not to mention his OS record.
His great rival Apache Cat was well travelled also winning multiple Group 1's up and down the Eastern seaboard, and ran 2nd to TT in the Winterbottom. Was also placed in a HK sprint. Didn't race in SA.
As mentioned, Ortensia has won at Stakes level in each mainland state.
The aforementioned Reckless won the Sydney, Brisbane and Adelaide Cups, and was placed in the Melbourne and Perth Cups. An amazing feat in itself, but doubly so when you consider he was trained by Phar Lap's strapper.
Kingston Town was well travelled winning in 4 states, but didn't race in SA. There are a fair few who have won in 4 states actually.
When forced to include Tassie, and considering only Stakes race wins, the best I can find is a well travelled and very popular horse who won in 4 of the 6 states at Stakes level.
We'll leave that as a trivia question.
