The great one will not have to "stay' 1400m against this lot.

As I said on another thread - which Australian superstars over 1400m would trouble her.

Helmet going flat out in front being chased by Manawanui who in turn is being chased by More Joyous, That would at least require the Mare to change gears and perhaps work up a sweat.

You understand that the only reason Peter Moody is testing her over 1400m in Australia is to be sure she will stay the 1200m in England. He is NOT going to learn anything here is he ?

Hope she draws 13/13, not trying to sound harsh but I would love to see her really tested.

Helmet is hardly proven outside of 3yo grade.

Isn't the straight predominantly uphill? I remember trainers comparing the ascot 1200m to a 1400m race in aus

On Black Cavier,

I can not see 1400m's being a problem, as she has one of the most efficient strides and galloping actions I have ever seen in a horse, and is so relaxed in doing so.

If anything, unless somebody really strings them out, you could see her last 400m's be even more devastating than her previous wins, as she may get it even easier over 1400m's than she would over 1000m's   noteworthy

I agree Magic, she could very well run 32 neat I reckon.....if there is a soft pace and Luke lets her go!!!
We are in for a thrill I reckon......how many lengths guys? 5 or above?
