There are lots of eagle eyes following Brisbane Racing on this Forum.
Let's see if they can identify some performances that might lead to a winner in the coming weeks.
(Forumites who aren't fortunate enough to live in the Sunshine State are free to open their own copy-cat thread at any time.)

In the same race, another visitor in BOLERO DANCER went well.

Standard performance for it. Never draws well and will win a good race this prep

wily, my mate DESERT VISION showed surprising speed to lead.  (This is the horse that normally can't get out of its own way till the 400.) I was on oxygen for much of the race.  Your guy made a run around the turn, and I thought looked certain to win.  Maybe just died on its run, then Ms Bogenhuber came diving between DV and NJ and won in the last stride or two.

Yep, seemed every chance.  Hope you went each way.

Yes mate. I'm surprised with my discipline lol

I started a spreadsheet of all my bets from December and forced my self to bet e/w
I've had 56 bets with 17 of them running 2nd or 3rd so my e'w bets have kept me in front.
I've found 18 winners in that time as well so it's been a reasonable 7 weeks

Old Dog,

This is my experience--the body goes down hill from here----BUT the punting profits go up--cause you realise how dumb we were before fifty--trust me the bank balance gets bigger from here---you have turned the corner.....

Heathcote mare TOMBOY gave the lie to her recent Doomben defeat 3 wks back and chalked up win #7 today.  The lightly-raced Murphy's Blu Boy 4yo just keeps improving.

I know I found her when she ran 7th last July and have paid the penalty for having a memory.  Sad

She looks a likely Winter hope for the banana-benders.  Great Idea

As if Gai didn't get enough of the spoils at GC yesterday, her runner in the Maiden looked a tragedy beaten.

LIGHT WARRIOR put on some antics soon after the start and lost many lengths.  Even then it was on the heels of the placegetters at the finish.

This horse won by 4 lengths at Wyong on Thursday.  The 6/4 looked pretty generous.

The much-discussed STEEL ZIP finally brought home the bacon today.  Thumb Up

Super run yesterday by visitor BEAUTIFUL TIMING in the quaddie opener.  Those who'd plonked for THE RINGMASTER were reaching for the (NH4)2CO3 at the 100.

If there was a better run at Doomben yesterday than that of MODERN AL, I certainly didn't see it.

I had him going for ransom for the drum, and was dismayed to see him 3-4 wide facing the breeze.  My thoughts on the turn were "this has gotta run last".

I started looking for Rapid Leica Dane who was boxed up (and didn't ever get out).  On the line, I glanced at the placings and there was MODERN AL putting his head down to get 3rd in a photo.

Anyone who has the film, take a peek.  Un- censored-believable.

I was surprised that not one of the media pundits commented on the run of MODERN AL.

He's due to go around on Saturday - from a perfect draw - and is currently $6.00 the drum.  Great Idea
