There's no satisfying the forum's appetitite for discussion on Brisbane Racing, so let's get another thread under way.
This one's for the trainer who turns in a noteworthy performance.

We could give it to Bazza, but he's always in the limelight.

Let's give the gong to GC trainer Les KELLY for his race-to-race double with RARE SUBJECT and LUCKY LUNA.

This week's award goes to Kelly DOUGHTY for another win with courageous 3yo MORNING CAPTAIN.  He almost fell at the 1000 and rider Munce was blessing himself as he dismounted.

The Captain was a bargain-buy, and is owned by a former forumite.

This week's prize goes to youngster Brian SMITH for getting smart stayer HUME back into the winning list after a lengthy drought.

Thankfully I was tempted by the $15 the place on Centrebet.  I don't mind when they win. nowink

Some sort of effort by Rob HEATHCOTE to get ex-Kiwi SOLZHENITSYN up into open company yesterday.

Wasn't that long back that the horse debuted in a Dbn mid-weeker.

Maybe they weren't WFA stars chasing, but on paper it looked a significant step up from last week's win.

Nice ride from Rodd.  But he's still well in the red with the Heathcote camp.
