A little tip for Firefox users to improve the appearance of fonts to look heavier and more like IE, by enabling Clear Type

Method 1:  Enable ClearType ( for windows XP )

1. Right click on the empty space on the desktop and select properties.

2. Now click the  Appearance Tab , and click the effects button.

clear-type-enable-windows

3. As shown in the image above you need to select the cleartype effect in the second checkbox.

4. Click Ok 2 times That’s it Done !

Just using Firefox, Westie. Grandson put it there, told me to use, so I do as I'm told.

Have changed to Google Mail, Gratlog, so address is now permanently gmail.com.

Don't want to use hotmail as Defence Dept and Police Dept and a few others have a block on hotmail and I send to a few in those places. Want a permanent address so that I don't change if I get disgruntled (as I do) and change my ISP from time to time. Have given Optus the flick and wouldn't touch PigBond with a barge pole.

Thanks MagiC.  I'm getting used to Vista now but would still rather have my old XP Pro. Trouble is, the little sod can't find the disk so that I can go back to it.  angry
